- Interfaces with customers / suppliers as needed to ensure sales effectiveness
- Resolve questions from key customer decision makers, contract engineers, specifies, and contractors
- Develop the detail planning and execution of tactical goals to strengthen spec position in the marketplace
- Strengthen and improve Domestic and International markets and market shares
- Prepares engineering drawings for submittal to end user and reviews for completeness
- Assist Sales / Marketing in activities such as sales promotions, training, market research, planning and executing special projects, preparing Sales forecasting for budgeting and S & OP Planning
- Project Management responsibilities include developing and submitting proposals (Capital Requests) for new tools or other related items / projects through to completion
- Facilitate the relationship between the end user and the Company including onsite installation training, inspection, cost justification, project support, national account support and quote follow-up
- Stays aware of market activities including all potential competitors
- Is active in and supports all new product development activities, including working closely with the quotations department to ensure we are the specified product, and follow-up and influence end users on project business
- Understanding of engineering principles, terms and meaning
- Arrange and conduct Lunch & Learn Seminars with existing & potential customers, including providing presentation skills/sales support at the user level
- Ensure adherence to manufacturing and quality standards, including training Supervisors, leads and line people in improving quality control methods
- Develops and maintains relationships with market specification entities and key trade organizations such as: APL, UL, CSA, IEC, SPE, NACE etc
- Generate White Papers for products
- All department processes and procedures documented and the appropriate individual(s) trained and cross-trained as necessary
