Algorithm Development Engineer

Key Technology Areas:  detection algorithms, ground-penetrating radar/EO systems, MATLAB as used in Modeling & Simulation, Software Development in C++, Embedded Software Development & DSP Development. 

Leading innovator and technology provider for the military, homeland security, and commercial markets is looking for an Algorithm Development Engineer.  Our creative solutions provide the military with advanced technology in unforgiving environments including landmine detection and personnel detection.

Position Description:

Position reports to the Systems Engineering Manager.  Candidates must have relevant qualifications and proven track record.  Hands-on experience developing detection algorithms using stochastic processes and numerical methods and techniques.  Strong analytic skills are required and modeling and simulation experience in MATLAB is a must.  Experience with tracking algorithms using Kalman filters is desired.  Signal processing experience with coherent radar and/or ground penetrating radar is a plus.


Basic Qualifications:
-MS in Math, Physics, or Engineering Phd. is a plus
-5-10 years algorithm development experience with radar or EO systems
-Must be fluent with MATLAB and/or MathCad modeling tools and techniques
-Signal processing and data analysis experience is required
-Software development experience and proficiency in C++ is strongly desired
-Application experience with embedded systems and DSP development is also desired


Additional Qualifications:
-Self starter who can work effectively in a small company environment and function with minimum supervision.
