||Qualified candidates will have a B.S. in an Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering discipline or Chemical or Civil/Mechanical. Candidates must have coursework in air quality related topics. In addition to education, ideal candidates will have 2-7 years of experience.
It is desirable that the candidate have experience and or familiarity with the following regulations: construction and operating permits, MACT/BACT/LEAR compliance, PSD/NSR program, non-attainment regulations and SIP plan development. Knowledge of air modeling (Screen3, ISC, AERMOD or CALPUF) is desirable. Knowledge of air monitoring or compliance source testing is also desirable. The position will travel to client locations to perform data collection, with client contact, so strong communication skills are desirable. Traveling may consist of 2 days a week and overnights may happen 2-3 times a month. Previous consulting experience is a plus.
This position may also include multimedia (ex: water permitting, stormwater, RCRA, and SARA reporting) compliance tasks, so previous experience in these areas are desirable. This position may include configuring and implementing environmental management information system software for multimedia reporting so previous experience implementing and EMIS system is desirable.
