Advanced Excel skills -pivot tables and V-lookups
Oracle is a plus but not required
Provide accounting support for Compensation and Benefit expenses, as well as other general ledger accounting areas. This includes:
1) The preparation of journal entries (i.e.payroll journal entries and accruals; self-insurance health accruals; 401k/profit sharing accruals)
2) Preparation of general ledger account reconciliations and related account analyses
3) Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and year end close activities. OT is required during month-end closes. Required to work the 1st weekend during the QTR end close.
Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Experience Required: 3+ years general ledger accounting experience
