Job Title: Business Development Manager

Essential Functions:

  • Manage the existing portfolio of partners/customers

  • Identify/develop/qualify sales opps in United States & Canada

  • Manage complete sales cycle w/ customers in agreed target markets

  • Identify/manage multiple strategic initiatives and simultaneously interacting w/ our Company's international resources/required partners

  • Manage relations w/regional arms of global partners

  • Develop&manage relationship w/ processors

  • Develop relationships w/ local media along w/ VP of Marketing & local marketing

Other Responsibilities:

  • Communicate opportunities/issues to Management on regular basis

  • Ensure achievement of qualitative + quantitative targets including regional P&L for our international activity

  • Explain accountability for sales/expense budgets/authorization limits/other data this position controls

  • Provide specific statistical data when applicable


  • Excellent communication + presentation skills

  • Highly developed analytical skills

  • Strong financial skills

  • Creative/flexible/enthusiastic/hands-on + focused approach to work

  • Ability to work in a virtual team env.

  • Good project management+crisis skills

Education, Training and Certifications

  • 4-year degree in an engineering or business field

  • 10-15 years in a business development or sales position w/ successful track record.
