JOB DESCRIPTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Commercial Construction Estimator manages the overall project direction, completion and financial outcome and administers both the owner and subcontractor relationships for assigned projects. The Estimator is responsible for estimating a wide variety of construction projects including retail, entertainment, lodging, manufacturing facilities and distribution centers.
• Coordinate Company personnel and resources for the project (s)
• Assist with preconstruction efforts including constructability reviews
• Oversee performance of project including, project status, cost control, change management systems,
• Maintain relationships with clients, designers and consultants
• Attend project meetings, including progress, pre-construction and pre-award
Experienced Estimator, who is capable of performing hard bid and conceptual estimates for the below type of work. They must be able to manage multiple estimates at one time along with managing a project through the preconstruction phase of a project. This person will need to have the ability to work with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and municipalities with the understanding of city review and permitting processes.
This position will have a focus on estimating projects in the Arizona and Southwest Region of the United States. Estimator experience focusing on the office, retail, entertainment, tenant improvement and distribution/ warehouse markets is preferred. This position will be expected to work in both a team atmosphere and autonomously at various times. Conceptual and local market estimating experience is also preferred.
