Job Title: Biopharmaceutical Sales Consultant - Entry Level
Category:  Professional & Business Operations
- Sales activities in greater MA to Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies selling development services ranging from pre-clinical all the way to assistance in cGMP manufacturing. 

- Identify organizations and individuals online to establish new leads. 50%+ of time (2-3 days per week) spent in the field calling on scientists, researchers and decision makers in greater Cambridge, MA with the remainder of time prospecting from the home office in Southborough, MA

- Develop sales activity with regular updates of leads, contacts, and opportunities  

- Leverage phone, email, social media., etc. to establish rapport, identify requirements, and schedule meetings for the senior leadership team

- Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events that are relevant for business growth

The primary role of this position is to build quality relationships with new and existing collaborators and organizations. Substantial support will be received from the both the scientific and business development team leaders 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Marketing or equivalent degree  

• 1-3 yrs sales experience, biotech/biopharma internship, knowledge of the Cambridge, MA pharmaceutical and/or Biotech community

• Experience selling scientific services and/or products

• Experience selling CRO, CRDO, CMO Services

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong verbal, written, and communication skills
