Job Title: Project Engineer - Water Resources

The ideal candidate will lead technical activities necessary to meet client and project expectations.   Prior experience demonstrating technical skills and desire to learn management skills are essential to this position.


This is a great opportunity to lead a variety of water resources related projects involving hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling and analysis, flood hazard identification/quantification/mitigation, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Risk MAP studies, area drainage master planning (ADMP) and studies (ADMS), storm drainage and stream restoration/stabilization design. Knowledge in the application of FLO-2D is helpful. This person will review engineering calculations, prepare design reports and exhibits, supervise the planning, development, lead the production of construction documents, conduct quality control review of 1D and 2D computer models, floodplain mapping, watershed planning, stream stabilization design, closed conduit and open channel design.


  • BS in Civil Engineering, AZ Professional Engineer’s license

  • Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) is preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months

  • Ability to plan, organize, perform and coordinate technical work.

  • Ability or desire to communicate clearly, including speaking, listening and writing
