Currently seeking an Emergency Response Specialist to join a General Contractor in the East Valley on a large construction projects. This person is responsible for providing basic first aid through life saving medical care to all persons working within the confines of the construction site.
Responsibilities :
- Respond to emergencies throughout the construction site efficiently and promptly.
- Administer basic first aid and medical support to patients, in accordance with federal, state, local and company policy and regulations
- Assessing the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures
- Effectively communicating with medical professionals and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further action
- Effectively communicating with client and site personnel regarding any work site incidents and hazards.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to be cognoscente of the constantly changing work site environment and construction site hazards.
- Ensure that quality, clinical standards are practiced always.
- Document all findings and treatments clearly and concisely.
- Assisting the Site Safety Managers and Personnel in maintaining the safest and most secure work environment possible.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least one to two years related experience
- Completed OSHA 30-hour Construction Outreach Training course or (as an equivalent) Certifications, from recognized training sources,
- Certified competency in the following; Scaffolds, Excavations, Fall Protection, Lockout/Tagout and Crane Operation.
- Current certification in First Aid and CPR; (EMT Certification highly desirable)
